Sleep & Rest Time
Younger children typically require a sleep during the day at The Cat’s Pyjamas. In the Infant and Toddler rooms we have specific rooms designed especially for children to sleep in. The rooms have a separate thermostat where the temperature is monitored to a comfortable level. Each child has their own free standing cot or stretcher bed and bed linen specifically designated to them.
We encourage you to bring any special item (named) that your baby/toddler settles with during sleep time. It is against our policy to put babies/toddlers to bed with a bottle or feeding bib on.
We will endeavour to follow the same sleeping routine that you have at home. You will be asked on the ‘All About Me’ information form about your child’s sleeping routine.
All children are monitored during sleep/rest times. Your child’s sleep patterns are recorded and available for you to view daily. For further information please ask the Head Teacher for a copy of our Sleep Policy.
