In the Mānuka room we have been spending a bit of time indoors due to the wet weather lately! Our tamariki are still keen to use their gross motor skills even on these inside days so we often bring in some different outdoor and climbing equipment. On this day we brought in one of the smaller outside boxes along with mats so that our tamariki could practice their climbing and jumping! They loved exploring this in a different environment and for a good portion of the day we had a long line where tamariki were also developing their sharing, and turn taking and waiting in line skills so that they could have a turn jumping off the box.
